RIX Storm S6 Thermal Imaging Riflescope

The RIX Storm S6 Thermal Imaging Riflescope was designed to be compact and budget friendly, but still packed with great features. The Storm S6 includes 640×512, 12μm, 50Hz, NETD <25mK thermal sensor. This sensor, combined with a 35mm germanium lens along with a 1024×768 OLED display, delivers crisp and consistent imagery. Operating the scope is very simple thanks to the unique operating system and control layout of the Storm series.  An intuitive four-button user interface allows for quick access to most functions with a single button press and on-screen indications.  The buttons are raised, and tactile for easy use in the dark.

Other notable features of the Storm series include onboard video recording, Wi-Fi, IP67 water ingress protection, resolution enhanced technology, reticle return-to-center function, picture-in-picture, a variety of reticle choices, and iOS and Android mobile app compatibility. The RIX Storm series is powered by non-proprietary lithium-ion 18650 batteries and provides over six hours of operating time.  A quick detach battery cap allows quick, and effortless swapping in the field.  Additionally, a 5V USB-C port allows for external power for even longer run times.

High Performance Sensor

The STORM has a 12um sensor boasting, NETD<25mK, and a 50Hz refresh rate, ensuring a clear and consistent view during observations. This series offers a total of four models for you to choose from: S1 (192x 144 pixels), S2 (256 x 192 pixels), S3(384×288 pixels), and S6(640×512 pixels).

Resolution Enhanced Technology (RET)

With RIX Resolution Enhanced Technology (RET), the S1, S2, and S3 models double the number of pixels and employ advanced Al algorithms to optimize the content displayed by these additional pixels. As a result, the picture quality is significantly improved, offering a clearer and more detailed image that enhances your outdoor observations and hunting experiences.

1024×768 Full Color OLED

The STORM’s OLED screen offers superior contrast and rich details, enhancing the hunting experience with a more immersive and detailed view.

Replaceable Battery & Quick Detach Design

The STORM series is powered by a replaceable 18650 battery that enables the S6 model offers 5 hours of uninterrupted use. The innovative 90-degree, quick-detach battery cap design facilitates effortless battery swapping, ensuring minimal downtime during your hunting adventures.

Intuitive Operating System

RIX has developed a unique intuitive operating system for STORM, where each function corresponds to a single button. You no longer need to scroll through menus to find the desired function. The device’s buttons are directly mapped to the user interface (UI), so when you press a button, the corresponding function on the UI lights up, providing a clear indication of which function you have triggered. Additionally, these four buttons can also be used as directional keys, allowing for convenient zeroing.

Return to Center Function (RTC)

After zeroing, the RTC function will automatically reposition the reticle closer to the center of the x-axis and y-axis. If the deviation from the center position is minimal, it can even realign the reticle directly to the center. enabling you to have a more comfortable field of view and making it easier to maintain focus on the target.

Adjustable Picture in Picture (PIP)

Unlike other scopes where the Picture-in-Picture (PIP) image is simply magnified along with the outer image, the STORM allows you to adjust the magnification level of the PIP image independently, enabling users to maintain awareness of the surroundings and improve shooting accuracy using the PIP function.

Lightweight and Compact Design

The STORM features a compact and lightweight design, weighting around 440g, making it suitable for handheld use. It also includes a quick-detach Picatinny mount for easy installation. The aluminum alloy construction ensures durability and high-quality performance.

Powerful Base Magnification

With a base magnification of 3.5x, the S1, S2, and S3models provide powerful, improved clarity when observing distant targets. This allows for more precise long-distance hunting, even when utilizing digital zoom.
