The Leupold Standard 1 Piece Mount Base is part of the Leupold steel standard bases and rings, and is the most versatile of any mounting system they offer. The rear ring is secured by windage adjustment screws, allowing the scope’s internal adjustments to be used for precise sight in. Shims can also be used for gross elevation adjustment, reserving the scopes elevation adjustment for BDC (bullet drop compensation) dial applications.
