The Kestrel 2500NV Electronic Hand held Weather Meter measures wind and temperature with total accuracy, and has the added benefits of an air pressure sensor that gives altitude and barometric information. Kestrel 2500 technology helps you to keep up with changes in air pressure that help predict possible changes in the weather. Factor in the 2500’s digital altimeter, and you have most of the weather information you need for outdoor activities ranging from flying a kite to target practice.

As with all Kestrels, the 2500’s sensitive and user replaceable impeller technology gives the right wind speed info. Additionally, an external temperature sensor and waterproof casing let you to gauge the temp. of water and snow, as well as the open air. A hard slide on case, lanyard, and battery are included.

For those using it at night, the Olive Drab NV version of the Kestrel 2500 has a night vision preserving back light. This back light shows off an optical filter to lower overall brightness and minimize blue and green spectrum light to save night vision.
